It may not mean a bunch to you all, but for me, this is a miracle episode!!! Joey and Kurt recorded this a couple of weeks ago and then, because of a computer error, thought it was lost to a software crash. Then, after a deep dive into the files, we were able to extract this gem, saving it from the ashes and presenting it to you now! So enjoy this "missing" episode!
We discuss (and perform) a prostate exam, talk about our mutual Olympic fever and Curler jokes, Canadian Fetish Rap, Super Bowl results, Logan Paul, Rex Orange County concerts and finally, the history of Eugenics in America brought back to the headlines due to a criminal case where the judge asked the criminal to get sterilized. Find out about how early 1900's America inspired Hitler and what does it mean today?!

Love you all!

What's the "Best Picture of the Year"? Will Margot Robbie do a triple-axle over the competition on Oscar night? What does a cinematographer do? Hear us discuss and Play along with the Dudes as we fill out our Oscar ballot! And see if you can beat the Critic, as Michael Ordona joins us to give his analysis, what he thinks should win and what will. We only predict 10 categories, so you can't rely on us for your office Awards pool, but play along and see if you can beat our ballots! Send us your picks Dudes@dudesoffuturepast.com
Plus, @michaelordona gives us his spoiler-free review of BLACK PANTHER!!! Plus, the practice of white-washing Hollywood and which formerly white roles could be replaced with a more diverse cast.
We are perilously close to the Academy Awards telecast where the film industry awaits a big pat on the back and, hopefully, a fatter wallet. The arguments over which is the best film or performance of the year have been raging for months. SO what does make a "BEST" movie? Or what even qualifies it to be a nominee? Freelance film critic, Michael Ordona talks about his criteria for a great film. He also discusses Oscar winners Past and Future, the ones that don't deserve the accolades and the ones he thinks were snubbed.
At about 20:00 mark we go deep into the Nerdverse with a discussion of Marvel and DC films, possibly spin-offs, and if "Cape and tights movies" could ever win a "Best Picture". Will Performance Capture artists ever have an Oscar category? We also get into the ranking systems, if past "Best" films pass the 5-year rule. Don't miss our follow-up podcast with Michael where we make all the Oscar picks and predictions!

We here at DOF/P Podcast already knew we were fortunate fellows who have had a fun career and fantastic fans. But after talking to our contest winner, Ryan Lee, we were struck by the power and potential of our show. Ryan is not only one heck of a nice guy who has exquisite taste in podcasts and comedy actors, but he also bravely discusses his life with Autism. We are happy to give him and other's dealing with Autism a tiny megaphone to promote awareness and hope to get others to help deal with the issue. Not only did Ryan put a big smile on our faces, he also tugged at our heartstrings with an emotional and soul-bearing essay that he wrote about his life and Autism. Please take a look at AutismSpeaks.Org and donate what you can to the cause.
It's dudes and dudettes for an in-depth look at diversity in the industry! DOFP regulars, Audrey Whitby and Jessica Marie Garcia join Kurt and Joey to talk about Jess' new @Netflix show, "On My Block" (starting March 16th), making unheard, diverse stories for TV & Film, educating the ignorant, and America's greatest export, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Plus, Kurt and Jess clear the air about the Golden Globes comments, and how we can tip the scales in favor of the dreamers. Audio Theater, new types of confetti cannons, and so much more!
We're feeling SUPER about our sit-down with Cooper Barnes, star of Nickelodeon's hit, "Henry Danger" and the new animated series, "The Adventures of Kid Danger". Joey, Kurt and Coop have a lively conversation that winds through the topic of 'Predator' weddings, politics, He-Man's tan, obsessed fans, how Cooper got into Superhero shape, and the unique relationship between co-stars 20 plus years apart in age. We were even lucky enough to have Cooper join us in a little "Audio Theater"! So while you're setting your DVR for Nickelodeon, Friday's at 6:30 to catch the animated version of "Captain Man" - you can enjoy the real 'Man', Cooper and the Dudes in this fun-filled episode!

Kurt and Joey are back, no guests, but so much 'Audio Theater', fun and uncensored conversation. We talk about the future/past of sex tapes, #TimesUP at the Golden Globes, economic segregation, firing a one-arm drummer, James Franco is on the list and what happens when Joey & Kurt attend a playoff game in L.A.

Starting off the 2018 with a huge episode! (and that's not a fat joke). We've got the creators, writers, executive producers of Disney's Liv And Maddie, John D. Beck and Ron Hart. We do discuss if "fat jokes" are too easy, what inspires a hit show, and how Joey went from "Sticky" to Joey. We also delve into where it all began for these two Hollywood hunks and what it was like to jump from Disney to Disjointed. What is the Future for television? And when the heck is their new show, "Knight Squad" airing on Nickelodeon?
Look for their work on Netflix's "Disjointed" January 12th

If you’re one of those people who get a little melancholy around the holidays, then boy, is this the podcast for you! A strange episode, even by our already strange standards. Joey is noticeably downbeat, bemoaning the state of affairs and isn’t too optimistic with what the New Year brings. We recorded this show before Xmas and after we saw Star Wars: Ep 8 The Last jedi. So we aren’t going to spoil what you’re getting from Santa, but we may spoil plot points as we review the latest film. If you haven’t seen it, stop at the halfway point. Otherwise, forgive the slightly strange tone. There is still a lot of love, a little positivity and a teensy bit of hope and anticipation of 2018. Thanks for being the greatest fan/downloader ever! Let us know your hopes for the new year! And stay tuned for our end of the year wrap up!
Our lil @dofpcast studio has been touched with greatness and the gentle tones of super-talented, super-sweet actor Doug Jones. We not only discuss having to share name fame with the Alabama Senator, we also talk about his fantastic new film and 6th collaboration with acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro, "The Shape of Water". We also delve into Doug's previous high profile roles, including the possibility of reprising "The Silver Surfer" after the recent Fox/Disney merger. Doug shows us his spectacular coffee table book about mimes, "Mime Very Own Book", and difficulties with costume flaps. Everything you want to know and more about the man responsible for bringing to life monstrous creatures on film. Please follow the great Doug Jones on Twitter and Instagram: @actorDougJones

Hello and Thanks for downloading! We've got a fun-filled episode in your earballs. Kurt and Joey start off the show with a fun discussion of sex-education problems, Joey's reluctance to joke about boobs, and why are we so darn infatuated with them? About 15 minutes in, we get a little serious about the recent Michael Flynn issue, Trump's tweets and the cowardly passing of the tax bill. At the 30 minute mark, we shift back to fun with our weekly mystery celebrity birthday. Then (45:00 approx) we introduce our latest (and greatest?) segment, "Splooge from the Past!" (working on the title) where we dig into the archives of our lives and find GEMS!! Joey recites Kurt's 5th grade poetry, Kurt re-enacts Joey's facebook thread, and a post-break-up Hallmark card. You don't want to miss a second!

Welcome to another edition of DOFP! In this episode we kick off Thanksgiving week with a contest aimed at giving gratitude to all of our loyal listeners! Details on how to win a spot on a future episode are given right at the top of the show. Plus, you can check our Instagram stories for more info: @joeybragg @mrkurtlong or @dofpcast
Then Kurt and Joey dive into the latest controversy surrounding the new Star Wars: Battlefront II game, and how greed has taken a higher priority over gameplay in the video game world.
And then Joey tells Kurt about his upcoming first trip to Las Vegas while Kurt reminisces about his 30 or so prior trips. Are strip clubs and gambling still the main draw? Or is it all about the shows, spas and spectacle for millennials?
Thanks again for downloading, reviewing and listening! Have a great Thanksgiving!
Joey and Kurt are joined by Audrey Whitby and Jessica Marie Garcia to talk about all the firsts that happened in the recent election. Then we dive into the recent rash of sexual harassment issues that, for lack of a better term, have sprung up lately. What's the deal with powerful men, including Louis CK, Roy Moore, Kevin Spacey and others? Then we brighten the mood with a (mostly) positive review of Thor: Ragnarok. Something for everyone in this raucous discussion spanning the generations!

Welcome to another fantastic episode! You, kind listener, are in for a wonderful episode where the Dudes talk about all the things Kurt's generation enjoyed before Joey's generation came along to destroy them. And since it's World Series time, (and boy do we hear a lot about it out here in Los Angeles, for some reason...), we discuss the future of Baseball as a sport. Will the slow pace, high prices, and extensive schedule spell doom with a younger generation whose attention span is low and excitement barometer is high?
Plus, we examine a Forbes.com article that claims millennial folk are also killing 5 other staples of the Generation X lifestyle. Does Joey agree? Does he relish the opportunity to kill Kurt's Past? Does Sylvester Stallone drop by for a quick chat? You'll know soon! Enjoy the show!

The Dudes have their favorite Lady Dude in the studio, Audrey Whitby, to discuss the recent Weinstein news, the effect on Hollywood and gender relations in general. What does all this recent news mean for sexuality? Well, we (Literally) roll the love dice to let fate how we are going to approach each other from now on. We also review "Good Place", Michael Schur programs, Flea Bag, Roseanne, and American Vandal. And is "Solo" a good enough name for the new Star Wars film?
The Comedy Film Nerd himself, Chris Mancini joins the Dudes for a chat about the new & old Blade Runner films, fatherhood, running a podcast festival and if replicants use Vape Pens. SPOILER ALERT!
If you haven't seen the Blade Runner 2049, just download and listen to this show afterwards. If you haven't watched the original (7 versions of) Blade Runner, then what's wrong with you? Don't you like Harrison Ford? He's an American Treasure!
Listen in as we diagnose the first film vs. the new one, If the Replicants are an allegory for slavery and when can we get a JOI bot? Big thanks to the great Chris Mancini for loaning us his Movie Expertise. If you'd like to laugh and hear all about great cinema, listen to Comedy Film Nerds podcast hosted by Chris and his co-host, Graham Elwood on the All Things Comedy podcast network.

We pledge to be a comedy heavy podcast, but that seems to be tougher and tougher these days. But we also pledge to bridge the gap between generations in regards to current events and societal issues. Again, usually with humor. So we try our best in this podcast to soldier on in the face of the worst mass shooting in America's history and the death of another American musical icon. So, even if you think you've heard it all about these topics, have a listen anyway. We not only discuss the events, but dig deep into other topics.
parenting in a time of terror, The Brady Bill, The Second Amendment & Muskets, and more.
Plus, we pay respects to Tom Petty with a Dude medley of some of his biggest hits.
And ending on a light note, we discuss the latest trend of "Stealthing" which is probably worse than it sounds. Enjoy!!
Thanks to everyone who downloads, subscribes and listens.

PETER & TONY has been released! It's on Funny or Die and the brand new Dudes of Future/Past YouTube Channel! Please go check it out and share with everyone! EVERYONE!!!!
Our show focuses on the upheaval involving the National Anthem, our suggestions for a new version, and is it UnPatriotic to Kneel before a sporting event?
We start the show very excited, discussing our Peter & Tony launch, the YouTube Channel and our upcoming visit to the @LAPodfest
Then we get a sugar rush with an unplanned Ice Cream truck break and wonder what the business model is for such a venture? Bro/Step-Sis Porn problems. The lineage of Francis Scott Key. And why is there so much talk about Kneeling!?!!?
Kurt, Joey and special guest, Audrey Whitby dissect Stephen King's classic, old and new. Let's face it, new versions of old things usually have a hard time matching the original. So, just to be sure, Joey & Audrey watched the ABC miniseries version of "IT" before picking up Kurt and heading to the multiplex to watch the 2017 Film version. Have a listen to find out which Pennywise was more horrifying, which cast of kids were more horrified and which version won the battle of Future/Past.
Plus, we discuss Joey's browser history, which is more polite, "Boobs" or "Knockers" and whether or not it's "cool" to keep Playboy magazines out in the open. And so much more!!!

We aren't ones who immediately jump to the worst conclusion, but even we at DOFPCAST are a little more than concerned with recent events. Multiple devastating Hurricanes, flooding, a fiery Burbank, Trump is still in office and Kim Jong Un is feeling frisky with the Nuke button. Sounds like the "end of the world as we know it". (Thanks REM)
Dark as it seems, we keep calm and carry on. Joey and Kurt discuss what it was like to live in the Cold War and watch it dissolve, only to seemingly reappear today. Can Millennials fathom the country-wide fear-inducing phenomenon, "The Day After"? And what are your suggestions for making Kim Jong Un a little more cuddly?

We here at the DOFPCast aren't haters. Not our style. But there is something about Jake Paul that annoys the hell out of us. So we talk about it here. Is he using his 'influencer' powers for good or evil. Or is he even smart enough to have a plan?
We also discuss the YouTube generation, where it started, who is on top now and where it's going. From PewDiePie to Rhett & Link to Miranda Sings, we cover it most.
